Posted by Given Mark Inansugan on November 22, 2018 9:25 am

CVSC signs Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) conducting Farmers’ Satisfaction Survey (FSS) with National Irrigation Administration (NIA) last November 6, 2018 at NIA Office Compostela, Compostela Valley Province.

Present at the signing were Engr. Manuel L. Rañeses, NIA Division Manager and Mr. Vincent B. Buenaventura, Sr., Institutional Development Officer (IDO).  Also present were Mr. Jeson N. Geroche, CA OIC Dean-Main, Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Development and Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera, CVSC College President.

With the conduct of Farmers’ Satisfaction Survey, NIA provides its farmer-clientele with various services such as cropping calendar implementation, water delivery and distribution, construction/rehabilitation of irrigation facilities and structures, advisory/support services and training. Also, NIA wishes to assess the level of satisfaction of the above-mentioned from the point of view of the farmers so that the agency can identify what specific aspect of services and needs improvement and sustain those that have positive effects. This is one way for NIA to gauge the level of satisfaction through the conduct of FSS to be done by an independent third party to eliminate any forms of biases.

Present at the MOA Signing as witnesses were faculty members of College of Agriculture: Mr. Jupite Mark U. Banayag, Mr. Franz Josef Gonzales, Mr. Eric Jhosua D. Ballesteros, Mr. Domy Bonn M. Untalan, Mr. Lemuel L. Alvior, Mr. Glenn B. Engalgado, Ms. Merry Ann M. Desucatan and Mr. Jan Nicole S. Alfaro.
