Cong. Gonzaga, other officials leads Blessing and turn-over ceremony of the New Building of CVSC Main Extension Class

Cong. Ruwel Peter S. Gonzaga, District Representative Compostela Valley, 2nd District as represented by Ms. Benben Lingo led the blessing and turn-over ceremony of one-storey school building with 2 classrooms for the establishment of CVSC Main Campus Extension Class last November 8, 2018 in Laak, ComVal.
Way back in November 15 2017, CVSC team joined the ocular inspection in Municipality of Laak together with CHEDRO XI Quality Assurance Team for the extension classes of academic program. This semester, CVSC Main Extension in Laak officially starts offering programs of Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSE) and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA with over 51 students.
Meanwhile, the said affair was attended by Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera, CVSC College President, Dr. Raul C. Alvarez Jr. CESO III, CHED Region XI Director, Hon. Jayvee Tyron L. Uy, Governor of ComVal represented by Mr. Rogelio Arambala, Hon. Antonio “Ay-Eng” L. Libuangan, Mayor of Municipality of Laak, Hon. Milagros Y. Camile, Vice-Mayor, Hon. Republic I. Turan, Brgy. Captain of Poblacion Laak, Hon. Jovielette Capon, President of Purok Leaders respectively graced the occasion while Rev. Fr. Jerson T. Estose, Parish Priest of Sagrada Familia in Laak, ComVal officiated the blessing of the building.
Roland O. Tatel, a 50-year old student gave his impression saying, “My great appreciation to all the people who made this event successful especially to our four heroic teachers who choose to stay and teach us in this very distant place.”
On the other hand, Dr. Ganiera also gave admiration to the teachers and highlighted the phrase “Bayani-to serve the students of Laak”.
“You should be thankful to the government officials for this great opportunity for all of you. That is why you should give back through your efforts in studying and taking care of the facilities. You should make your school clean. Also, as part of our dreams, we should make this campus soar high with the rest of the campuses that were already established,” she added.
Coinciding with the ceremony, Dr. Ganiera, Dr. Alvarez and other government officials witnessed different surprise presentations of CVSC teachers and Laak students accompanied with the CVSC Band. This brought fun and memorable event to CVSC and its stakeholders.
The rest of the CVSC Team who attended the ceremony were Mr. Jeson N. Geroche, CA OIC Dean-Main, Ms. Sharmine Faith A. Mahumas, COBE Program Coordinator, Mr. Ramon P. Sebuan, MsC, Dean of CCJE, Mrs. Merla D. Getubig, School Registrar, and Ms. Almera T. Limbo, Faculty Federation President.
