Compostela Valley State College’s (CVSC) Office of the Socio-Cultural held its 5-day Training Camp last October 10-14, 2018 at CVSC-Main Campus for the upcoming Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Competition.
This in-school preparation helped the 65 students to compete for the said competition this coming October 29-30, 2018 to be held in University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP)-Tagum Campus. With their coaches from different branches and all the Socio-Cultural Coordinators –Necy Hope Anthony, New Bataan; Mardette Anne Lendio, Montevista; and Jollan Balmera, Maragusan, the said camp was completed through the initiative of Cristine Carreon, Socio-Cultural Coordinator-Compostela with the help of Mary Dane Remulta-Canadalla, Director of Student Affairs and Services and the support of our College President –Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera.
Also, this 5-day affair allows students to receive feedback on their outputs and performances from their coaches. Despite all the hard work they have done, they are now ready for the competition. Their coaches are even trying their very best to teach them everything they need to know and it was shown that they did a lot.
CVSC is proud of the creativity, commitment, and skill of these people! Best of luck in the competition!
