Compostela – Compostela Valley State College welcomed its new set of faculty federation officers, led by BSED Coordinator and elected federation president Ms. Almera Limbo, as they took their oath of office in front of College President Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera before the beginning of the Leave Orientation/Seminar today at the board room.
Limbo, who already attended the CVSC Board of Trustees meeting last April 12 at the Commission of Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office XI, swore alongside Ms. Rona Apolinario (President-New Bataan), Mrs. Teresa Eufan (President-Montevista), and Mr. Jay Mark Bantayan (President-Maragusan).
Other officers include Mr. Jerald Anthony Esteban (Vice President), Mr. Khif Muamar Miranda (Secretary), Ms. Louella Araquil (Treasurer), Mr. Leo Wenceslao (Assistant Treasurer), Mr. Jesse Roy Alcaraz, CPA (Auditor), Dr. Joel Felicilda (Business Manager) and Mrs. Judith Tudy (P.I.O.).
Dr. Ganiera, meanwhile, urged the new officials to serve with verve as the representatives of the faculty members of the College, the frontline employees who can dictate the quality of graduates that the College produces, and also recognized their unimitable contribution to the institution.
“I will hopefully build upon the impeccable job that former federation president Dr. (Lilybeth) Matunhay to help further the thrusts of the College,” said Ms. Limbo as she also automatically becomes part of the CVSC BOT.
