Brooms. Mops. Pails.
These became the main tools for at least for half a day of Compostela Valley State College students, non-teaching personnel, and faculty members during the general clean-up drive last February 8, 2017.
Spearheaded by College President Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera, who herself scrubbed one of the comfort rooms of the school, every constituent of CVSC-Compostela worked hand-in-hand to make sure all the surroundings and facilities are squeaky tidy and orderly.
The CVSC population were divided into two: instructors and non-teaching staff took care of the two-storey main building and all its classrooms and offices while the students were assigned to clean the surroundings.
Pres. Ganiera, whose inclination towards the value of cleanliness is apparent even from her first few months in office, expressed her delight with the volunteerism and unity that all the learners, pedagogues, and office staff showed throughout the clean-up drive.
