CURRENT TIME


In its continued thrust towards academic and institutional excellence, Compostela Valley State College organized a two-day planning workshop for all the office heads held last September 15-16, 2016 at the Molave Hotel in Tagum City.
Staying in congruence with the college’s vision of being “a proactive academic pillar of development in the Davao Region, the said activity was created to improve the strategic planning and preparation of the different offices to help propel CVSC to greater heights.
Eugenio S. Guhao Jr., D.M. served as the resource person of the event attended by the bigwigs of the college.
Led by CVSC President Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Roque N. Langcoy II, present during the activity were Jonell R. Palanas (Branch Director-CVSC Montevista), Grace O. Tulang (Branch Director-CVSC Maragusan), Dr. Robert M. Gomez (Branch Director-CVSC New Bataan), Juanita C. Leopoldo (College of Business Dean), Jeson N. Geroche (College of Agriculture Dean), Leo D. Rayon Jr. (OIC-Director for Research, Development, and Extension Services), Kim F. Baloca (Director of Finance Services; OIC-Director of Admin Services), Joden John V. Nituda (Office of Student Services Director), Lilybeth M. Matunhay (Faculty Association President), Janice C. Hermocilla (Human Resources Management Officer), Rotchil B. Ganzon (Budget Officer), Benjamin O. Damuag (Physical Facilities, Maintenance, and Security Services Head), Neziel L. Siarot (Library and Resource Office Head), Jay-ar G. Del Socorro (Medical Services Unit Head), Jhonell P. Villegas (Gender and Development Focal Person), Khif Muamar M. Miranda (Information Officer), and Weneberth L. Terez (CSC Federation President).
Among the outputs of the participants during the seminar-workshop were Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis and Five-Year Strategic Plan for the different Key Result Areas.
